Science and technology play an important role in overcoming problems that occur in society towards major changes in improving welfare and ease of life, especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic. Science plays a role in creating new technology to facilitate human activities and striving for the Covid-19 pandemic to end soon with the discovery of a vaccine that is expected to be able to prevent the transmission of covid-19.
On the other hand, it turns out that technological developments can cause new problems for the nation. This can be seen from the fact that technological developments have various impacts, both positive and negative. At the same time, the use of research results to improve community welfare is carried out through research programs, encouraging and involving the community to be more sustainable and innovative in living a better life, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
In response to the issues mentioned above, Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau organizes the 5th International Conference to facilitate researchers to share and exchange ideas regarding their latest research findings. This event is expected to have a positive impact on society and universities.
The CELSciTech International Conference is an annual event held by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau in an effort to share and exchange research results. This year, 2021, will be the fifth CELSciTech conference and is being held internationally. This conference provides a great opportunity for researchers from various universities, educational institutions, research centers, and industry to discuss and exchange ideas as a forum for accelerating the development of science.
